Meet the State's Attorney

State's Attorney Jamie Boyd is an elected official representing the people of Kankakee County, Illinois. He is the chief law enforcement officer as well as a legal advisor and counselor for all county officials. His wide range of duties and responsibilities include felony, misdemeanor and traffic prosecutions, delinquency, abuse, neglect and truancy of juveniles, prosecution of domestic violence cases, victim/witness services and others.
